Sleep physicians practise independently and retain responsibility for their patients, clinical judgement and professional practice.

The centre can provide agreed administrative and practice support under a written arrangement. This is not an employment position.

What the Arrangement Covers

The exact scope is agreed with each physician and documented before practice begins.

  • ELIGIBILITY
    Applicants should hold FRACP or an equivalent recognised specialist fellowship and current AHPRA specialist registration.
  • CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITY
    Each physician remains responsible for their patients, clinical decisions, records and professional obligations.
  • PRACTICE SUPPORT
    Agreed support may include consulting rooms, appointment scheduling and administrative services.
  • CONSULTING SCHEDULE
    Consulting days and session times are agreed with each physician under the written arrangement.
  • WRITTEN AGREEMENT
    Any arrangement is subject to credentialing and a written agreement. Registering interest does not create employment or guarantee an arrangement.
